NBHC empanelled as Indian Clearing Corporation’s approved WSP, assayer

National Bulk Handling Corporation Pvt Ltd (NBHC), India’s leading integrated service provider in the agri-ecosystem, has been recently empanelled as the approved warehousing service provider (WSP) and assayer for Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd (ICCL), a subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd (BSE), for agri, non-agri and processed commodities.
NBHC will provide comprehensive storage and warehousing facilities suitable to the members by leveraging its world-class solutions, coupled with best-in-industry practices for quality assaying, grading, inspection and certification, storage of agri-commodities across all delivery centres of ICCL.
To begin with, NBHC has already set its pace by accrediting its warehouse for agri commodities like cotton, guar seed, guar gum, etc. and non-agri commodities like copper cathode for BSE’s ICCL.
Commenting on this announcement, Ramesh Doraiswami, managing director and chief executive officer, NBHC, said, “We are very proud of this association as this makes us the warehousing service provider (WSP) and assayer for Indian Clearing Corporation, a subsidiary of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).”

NBHC is the only service provider in India to have three ISO accreditations and prestigious membership of the United Kingdom-based GAFTA, which is regarded as the global benchmark for quality assaying of export-bound agri-produce.
NBHC has a proven track record of successfully managing assets worth over Rs 1,85,000-plus crore (cumulative) for over 50 banks and financial institutions as well as widest pan-India warehousing presence with over 2,500 warehouses across 23 states - adding up to total of over 65 million metric tonnes (cumulative) agri-commodities under management. It has over 45 functional QA (quality assurance) labs and over 200 mobile labs for quality testing of about 170 agri-commodities, as well as pest management services across over 16 states.
