After pleasing tummies and tastebuds in Pune, Nashik and Mumbai, cold-extracted juice brand Second Nature is all set to go to Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad. A homegrown fruit and vegetable brand from the renowned exporter of fruit, Freshtrop Ltd, is all set to grow in the next few months.

The move reflects the robust growth trajectory of Second Nature. While it is setting up DTH (direct-to-home) delivery service in the three aforementioned cities, it also plans to be on shelves of select retail stores for customers who prefer buying the good old way.

At present, Second Nature offers cold-extracted fresh fruit and vegetable juices as well as nectars and nut milks across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune and Nashik through its own e-commerce website.

Second Nature is also available for sale on bigbasket (in Pune) as well as Milk Basket (in Gurugram). The brand is aiming at partnering with more online retail platforms in the near future to reach a larger customer base who are looking for delicious and nutritious drinks.

Speaking on the expansion, Dipti Motiani, founder and chief product officer, Second Nature, said, “We planted a seed. We have grown into a sapling. Now, owing to a massive demand for our products over the last few months, we are growing.”

“We all know the tummy and tastebuds never agreed. Healthy and yummy were never friends. But with Second Nature, they can be. Which is what makes our offerings all the rage among those who want it both healthy and tasty,” she added.

“As we moved ahead in our journey, we realised that our products could also meet the needs of health and nutrition enthusiasts – anyone who is concerned about eating and living -  staying in other tier-I cities across the country. With our expansion drive, we plan to establish a pan-India presence in the next 6-8 months,” Motiani said.

“We are confident that Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi-NCR will give us the same love that Mumbai Pune and Nashik have. Second Nature is also in talks with few of the leading online retail chains to serve a larger customer-base pan-India,” she added.

Incepted in 2018, Second Nature is the only drink that is tasty and healthy at the same time. All its offerings are Second-To-Tree; the best alternative to plucking fruits right off their branches and consuming them.

Its products boast of being 100 per cent natural with no added sugar, preservatives and heat. And the nut-milks are unstrained – to retain the original taste and nutrients of the ingredients.

The company uses high-pressure processing (HPP) – the latest in technology - and cold-extracts (a step beyond cold-pressing) the fruit to ensure that the nutrition and original flavour of the fruits, vegetables and nuts is retained.

What differentiates Second Nature from other brands? It works directly with fruit and vegetable farmers, working with them to bring in the best global farming practices, ensuring that raw materials in Second Nature meet the highest food safety standards in the world.
