AWL Agri Business Limited, celebrated World Poha Day through its flagship brand, Fortune, with a large-scale community event showcasing Fortune Poha at The Hub in Indore. The celebration featured a record-setting display of 100 varieties of poha prepared using its and included an ambitious attempt to set another record by serving it to more than 1,000 people at a time. The event brought together residents and food enthusiasts to honour one of the most cherished breakfast staples in the country, while spotlighting Indore’s unique identity as the ‘Poha Capital’ of India.
The showcase of 100 varieties of poha demonstrated the versatility, regional diversity and cultural significance of the iconic dish. Alongside this, it organised one of the largest poha-eating gatherings in the country, with over 1,000 people coming together to enjoy poha simultaneously as part of a record-setting attempt. The initiative culminated in a successful entry into the Golden Book of World Records, marking a unique milestone in the celebration of India’s culinary heritage.
