Chef Shetty to conduct class on Mangalorean cuisine on September 20

A cooking class featuring Mangalorean classics is slated to take place at 11pm at Evergreen Industrial Estate, Mahalaxmi, on September 20, 2019. It will be conducted by 25-year-old chef Shriya Shetty.
With the festive season around the corner, attendees can start brushing up on their cooking skills. They will use fresh ingredients and traditional recipes to create a few much-loved dishes from this region of India.
The dishes they will learn include Mangalorean Neer Dosa with Bella Tarai (sweet coconut jaggery chutney); Roasted Sweet Potato or Chicken Ghee Roast; Fish Banana Leaf Fry; and Kori Rotti (a Mangalorean chicken curry served with flattened crispy rotis made of rice flour).
The class will be priced at Rs 3,500 plus taxes, and can be purchased through Insider.in.
