Vitafoods Europe postponed to Sept 1-3 in wake of COVID-19 situation

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 health situation, Informa Markets, the organisers of Vitafoods Europe 2020, have taken the difficult decision to postpone the event to September 1-3, 2020.
This was stated by Chris Lee, managing director, Health and Nutrition Network, Europe, Informa Markets.
“This conclusion is not one that has been reached easily. However, following consultation with our stakeholders, and taking the continually evolving health concerns and travel restrictions into consideration, we have agreed that the postponement is the best course of action,” he added.
“By acting now, we hope to remove the uncertainty affecting exhibitors and visitors and allow them to make more concrete business decisions,” Lee said.
The event in September will still take place at Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland, and all existing registrations and commitments remain in place.
Lee stated, “We understand how important Vitafoods Europe is to the industry and how much effort goes into preparing for it, and so, in this unprecedented situation and difficult time, thank our community for its understanding and support. We are looking forward to coming together later in the year to continue to drive our industry forward.”
