Tata Sampann, a brand committed to delivering everyday nourishing food, unveiled its Sarvagunn Sampann ready-to-cook (RTC) multi-grain khichdi mix.

Aimed at providing a nutritious and easy-to-cook meal, the launch of the authentic home-style recipe is in line with the brand’s vision of transforming modern Indian plate to deliver wholesome everyday food to its consumers.

As a part of the product roll-out, the multi-grain khichdi mix will be exclusively available online in 28 cities through Amazon.com and at Star Bazaar outlets in Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad.

In India, simple home food has been intrinsic to a family’s well-being and health. Khichdi is the perfect example of ultimate Indian comfort food that is wholesome and healthy with an appeal across the country.

To enhance the nutrition quotient of this simple home-cooked dish, Tata Sampann’s easy and convenient ready-to-cook khichdi mix is made with the goodness of Indian super grains; ragi, amaranth, bajra and jowar, unpolished chilka split moong dal and rice.

The product is an example of the brand’s commitment of providing ingredients whose inherent goodness is retained from farm to fork with minimal processing.

Uniquely developed by sourcing the finest ingredients from the best farms, the khichdi mix has been formulated with Sanjeev Kapoor, chef and brand ambassador.

The RTC khichdi mix is a means to revolutionise the cooking experience by providing an instant and nutritious power-packed meal with ease of six Indian super grains in the RTC format, which are otherwise difficult to keep handy to instant use.

Speaking on the launch of the product, Richa Arora, chief operating officer, consumer product business, Tata Chemicals Ltd said, “At Tata Sampann, we believe that natural and wholesome goodness is the way to go for a healthy, balanced life and our philosophy of Sarvagunn Sampann is rooted in the brand name itself.”

Khichdi is a perfect example of this wisdom and with the RTC Khichdi mix, we are delighted to bring a unique combination of convenience, taste and nutrition to our consumer’s plate,” he added.
