IG International and BelOrta launch Belgian Conference pears in India

fiogf49gjkf0d Indian fresh fruit importer IG International, in association with Belgium-based fruit company BelOrta, launched Belgian Conference pears. Launched by actor Sonu Sood and chef Ranveer Brar, the fruit is available at leading retail stores across the country.
Jo Lambrecht, commercial manager, BelOrta, said, “The fruit has a good shelf life and can be stored for a long period of time. This pear has a unique shape and a long neck. The fruit is either hard and crispy or sweet and juicy, depending on the ripeness of the fruit.”
He said, “The Belgian Conference pear is one of the most popular European fruits at the moment. We are extremely confident of receiving a positive response for it from the massive Indian market as well. Our mission is to let consumers across the globe enjoy a healthy life and feel fresh.”
While talking about the fruit, Brar said, “Fruit makes the best snack. It can be carried anywhere - to your office or school. Also it can be consumed in different ways - as a snack, juice, salad, etc.”
“Fruit is something which will keep you healthy. I feel that fruit should be moved from the living room to the kitchen because there are a lot of dishes that can be made using it,” he added.
