Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport appoints Raman as F&B manager

Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, a part of the InterContinental Hotels Group  (IHG), has appointed Amit Raman as its food and beverage (F&B) manager. He has over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

A strategic planner with experience in leading the food and beverage operations, he is resourceful at developing procedures, service standards and operational policies with proven ability to reduce revenue costs by planning and implementing effective control measures. In addition, he is skilled in designing and implementing training programmes for employees.

Prior to joining Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, Raman has worked with renowned brands, including Holiday Inn Resort and Spa Goa, Cidade de Goa, The Zuri White Sands Resort and Casino Goa, The Kenilworth Beach Resort and Spa Goa and Le Meridien New Delhi.

Having obtained his bachelors in tourism from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and followed it up with a master’s degree in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM), Goa, he believes in creating an indelible impact on guest experiences and his team members by raising their spirit of camaraderie.

Commenting on Raman’s appointment, Suraj Jha, general manager, Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport said, “We are delighted to have Raman in our team. His experience in the food and beverage domain, and an action-oriented and innovative mind coupled with zest and gusto makes him the perfect choice for the role.”
