Huanxi appointed chef de cuisine at JW Marriott Juhu Mumbai’s Dashanzi

Huanxi Yan has been appointed the new chef de cuisine at Dashanzi, JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu’s progressive modern Asian cuisine restaurant, which plans to bring a taste of curated Cantonese and classic Chinese cuisine with a revamped menu.
Huanxi has over a decade’s experience, and has worked with renowned hotel brands in the Middle-East and across Asia, and is noted for redefining Asian cuisine with a fusion of Cantonese traditions and international ingredients.
He will showcase hand-crafted dim sums, house made noodles and sushi. His signature dishes include Spicy Butter Shimeji Mushroom with Chef’s special spices, Deep Fried Sesame Prawns, Spicy Garlic Pork Roll, Pan Fried Seabass with XO Sauce, Sanpei Chicken Clay Pot, Braised Tofu with Edamame preserved with Chili sauce and slow-cooked Four Treasure Pork Meat Ball.
