Parsi restaurant Batlivala & Khanabhoy to launch outlet in Coimbatore

V M Hospitality, the brand behind speciality restaurants Savya Rasa, Meena Tai’s and Abyssinian and Coimbatore’s bespoke resort Dvara Siruvani, will launch the second outlet of Parsi restaurant and cafe Batlivala & Khanabhoy (B&K) in Red Fields, Coimbatore, on January 14, 2017. The restaurant will cover an area of over 2,000sq ft, have a seating capacity of 52 and will operate from noon to 11pm.

The menu will feature over 70 dishes, including Lollypop na Farcha, Patrani Machchi, Dhansak, Kheema Pav, Surf and Turn nu Pulao, Sali per Eedu, cupcakes, Ravaiya, Nariyal na Dudh ma Cauliflower. There will also be a range of Parsi-influenced burgers, signature Parsi floats and milkshakes.

Uday Balaji, chief executive officer, V M Hospitality says “Coimbatore is a market that has an increasing number of avid food enthusiasts, but has a limited number of speciality cuisine restaurants. Coimbatore being our home, we feel that we should bring in some interesting cuisines and concepts to the city. The first of these is B&K.”
