Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway has appointed Sujeet Kumar as the new general manager of the property.
With over two decades of experience in the industry, his role will be to capitalise on his experience in the fields of operations, sales and marketing and strategising to take the property to new heights, while working in tandem with senior leadership teams at the hotel.
Kumar started his career with front office, and subsequently moved to food and beverage (F&B) garnering experience across major operating departments, working with prestigious hospitality companies like ITC Hotels, Marriott International and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
He has worked ITC Park Sheraton, Chennai, ITC Windsor Manor Sheraton, Bangalore, Goa Marriott Resort, Renaissance Makati City Hotel, Manila, JW Marriott Medan, Indonesia and Westin Pune Koregaon Park.
Prior to being transferred to Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, he was working as the general manager of Sheraton Colombo, Sri Lanka.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal.
In his free time he enjoys music, is a foodie, loves travelling and is a follower of Formula One racing.
