The use of wrap-round plastic labels on a reel with hot melt application has maximum economic benefits for production compared to traditional OPP or pre-cut paper labels.

The modularity of the MAK Roll Feed, a particular feature of Makro Labelling technology, enables the roll feed unit to be replaced with a hot melt unit for pre-cut, wet glue or self-adhesive labels, satisfying the need for maximum production and configuration flexibility.

Designed for the high-volume PET labelling market (water and soft drinks sectors in particular), MAK Roll Feed labellers offer a production speed of 6,000b/h to 40,000b/h.

    • Ronchi Mario S p A is specialised in finding the specific solutions for solving any requirement. Fillers, cappers, unscramblers and orientors are Ronchi’s principal products

Ilpra S p A’s thermosealing, filling/dosing, thermoforming machines are reference models in the packaging market and provide leading edge packaging solutions, boasting high-quality standards, precision and high performance.

The Ilpra Group encompasses several local branches in the main major world markets and boasts a global network of distributors and service support centres that provide widespread knowledge and expertise in target markets. All this makes Ilpra an undisputed worldwide leader in food, industrial and medical applications packaging sectors.

During Gulfood Manufacturing 2019, Ilpra will exhibit the machinery Foodpack Ilpra Basic, a small, easy-to-use, semi-automatic machine which is ideal for companies and businesses with space problems or for those who decide to set up new production operations with a modest financial outlay.

The FoodPack Basic model allows companies to perform operations such as sealing only and vacuum- and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).

FoodPack Basic is featured by the innovative technology Proga, which is developed and patented by Ilpra, based on an exclusive work cycle and can be applied to its packaging machines.

By limiting the vacuum and compensation phases to just the tray instead of extending it to the complete chamber, the main advantage of ProGas is that it reduces the use, and therefore, the wastage of gas compared to the residual oxygen in the tray. Ilpra uses this technology to achieve substantially-improved productivity thanks to a much faster operating speed.
