Koehler to showcase product range at LabelExpo in Brussels in Sept

LabelExpo is the largest trade fair for label and packaging printing in the world – and it would not be complete without Koehler, the leading manufacturer of thermal paper. In line with the commissioning of the company’s brand new paper and coating machine at its Kehl location, the company will be presenting at the 2019 essay of the event, which is slated to take place in Brussels between September 24 and 27. Koehler will be at booth 6A55 in Hall 6.
New opportunities for the thermal paper sector
“LabelExpo offers an excellent opportunity to present our portfolio of thermal paper solutions,” said Willy Früh, division manager, thermal paper, Koehler Paper Group. Fitting the event, the focus will be on label applications, an area where Koehler intends to further strengthen its position.
For Koehler, the new paper and coating machine at its Kehl location is a stepping stone into the flexible packaging market. At the same time, it opens up a wide range of possibilities for thermal paper in label applications, including topcoat. Koehler has invested 300 million euro in this project, and is taking further steps towards achieving its corporate goals of innovation and sustainability.
In the area of thermal paper as well, Koehler’s ongoing innovative developments ensure that it will always offer its customers the best solutions for labels and POS (point of sale) applications. “Our constant goal is ensuring that we can meet this standard,” stated Früh.
