D-Alive Health Pvt Ltd has introduced til ke laddu especially for people with diabetes. They are sweetened with low-carb natural sugar alternatives like stevia, and are gluten-free, 100 per cent natural and made with organic ingredients.

Since its official launch in October 2018, D-Alive has been offering alternate food solutions, specially designed for people with diabetes. The company already offers four rich variants of Indian sweets, namely Maai Ka Laddu, Roasted Peanut Laddu, Cashew Pistachio Praline and Energy Paak.

Talking about the new offering, Sarrah Kapasi, co-founder and chief executive officer, said, ”If Diwali is incomplete without kaju barfi, then no Makar Sankranti celebrations are ever complete without its round of til (sesame) ke laddu.”

“We have been identifying the gaps wherein people with diabetes find it a challenge to celebrate or eat just like someone without diabetes. We chose Diwali to launch our first line of sweets, and the response has been overwhelming. That triggered us to have a happy Sankrant with the special variant introduced for the occasion,” she added.

The til ke laddu is available in 250g packs at just Rs 350 in stores like Heerson (Vile Parle), Premson (Breach Candy), Society Stores (Lokhandwala) and Cheap and Best (Powai), as well as online exclusively on Amazon.in.
