Mother’s Recipe launches range of chutneys, including Bhelpuri Chutney

Mother’s Recipe, the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brand of Desai Brothers Ltd’s food division, has introduced a range of street-styled chutneys in five variants, namely Delhi Chutney, Bhelpuri Chutney, Red Chilli Garlic Chutney, Samosa Chutney and Tamarind Date Chutney.
The range has been manufactured in its state-of-the-art plant in Pune under strict hygienic conditions. Sanjana Desai, head, business development, food division (Mother’s Recipe), Desai Brothers Ltd, said, “Mother’s Recipe is committed to deliver products, which satisfy palates and are appropriate for the Indian consumer.”
“Our home-style range of chutneys are a result of extensive research and consumer insights. They are made from the fresh ingredients to deliver authentic taste of home-cooked food,” she added.
“And with the monsoon setting in, we have consciously introduced these delectable chutneys to inculcate the habit of eating healthy and quality food in the comfort of your home. With our freshly-launched products, one can relish their favourite finger foods without any worry during the rainy season,” Desai said.
The products are available at all hypermarkets, exclusive Mother’s Recipe outlets and local retail stores across Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Punjab, as well as on bigbasket.com.

Mother’s Recipe products are category leaders in most of the categories, and their market shares vary between 25 per cent and 40 per cent.
In pickles, Mother’s Recipe dominate the category, and is the only brand available pan-India with more than 64 variants.
Other than pickles, the product range consists of ready-to-cook (RTC) spice mixes, condiments, papads, appalams, instant mixes and now chutneys.
