Based on their usage, three variants of Leonardo Olive Oil, a Cargill India brand, have been renamed. Pomace, which is meant for Indian cooking (including deep frying), has been renamed Cook All.

Extra Light, which is meant for day-to-day Indian cooking (excluding deep frying) has been renamed Just Lite, and Extra Virgin, which is a healthier alternative to butter and ideal for salad dressings, dips and condiments, has been renamed Just Drizzle.

They are available in a new packaging. Cook All is priced between Rs 300 and Rs 450 per litre; Just Lite is priced between Rs 500 and Rs 600 per litre, while Just Drizzle is priced between Rs 650 and Rs 700 per litre. These ranges depend on the stock-keeping unit (SKU).

To differentiate between the three variants on the shelves, the packaging labels are in three different colours - red for Cook All, orange for Just Lite and purple for Just Drizzle. A gold embossing states that the brand is from Italy.

Leonardo Olive Oils have the highest mono-unsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) (75 per cent) and are rich sources of antioxidants and oleic acid.

Food cooked in them absorbs 67 per cent less oil vis-a-vis regular refined oil [as per the study conducted by a National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories- (NABL) accredited lab)].

Leonardo Olive Oils also boosts good cholesterol, helps in weight and waistline management, controls blood sugar levels and is trans-fat free, making it a source of improved metabolic health.
