Dr Caparroz joins Diamond V as market access manager for Brazil

Dr Márcio Caparroz has joined Diamond V as manager, market access, Brazil.
“I am pleased to announce that Dr Caparroz has joined Diamond V,” said Francisco Portela, the company’s poultry business manager, Canada and Latin America.
“In his new role, he will focus on market access and key accounts. He will help advance poultry health, poultry production, and food safety in one of the world’s most important poultry markets,” he added.
Dr Caparroz earned his veterinary medicine degree from Paulista University in Brazil in 2002 and has continued his post-graduate education, gaining a variety of professional certifications specialising in agribusiness and marketing over the years.
He began his career working for Brazilian agribusiness trade organisations before serving as manager of investor relations for JBS.
Later, Dr Caparroz served as senior manager of corporate affairs and market access, Elanco.
Prior to joining Diamond V, he worked as market access director for Agri BR, a market access consulting company focusing on agribusiness.
Dr Caparroz is based in São Paulo, Brazil and speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish.
“We are excited for Márcio to join the team,” Portela stated, adding, “His extensive experience and knowledge of the Brazilian agribusiness market will be a valuable asset to Diamond V.”
