Merchant appointed Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach’s talent & culture director

AccorHotels appointed Sonali Merchant as Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach’s director of talent and culture. In her role, she will be responsible for leading and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the talent and culture department.
Merchant will also play a critical role in assisting in the implementation of strategies and promoting positive colleague relations through an environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect and fun.
Having completed her education in Montreux, Switzerland, the hotel operations professional has worked with some of the most renowned hotels, including Novotel Ahmedabad, ibis Pune, ibis Mumbai Airport and Taj Blue Diamond.
Manish Dayya, general manager, Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, said, “We are thrilled to have Merchant lead the talent and culture department.”
“Her key expertise lies in efficient planning and management skills, coupled with excellent execution abilities, making her the ideal choice for this role,” he added.
In her spare time, Merchant enjoys travelling and pursuing yoga and rejuvenation programmes.
