FnbNews Ranjith Premraj was recently appointed director of people and culture (otherwise known as director of human resources) at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, which is slated to open in mid-2019.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration specialising in human resources from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and had been working with the Four Seasons brand for over 13 years across various locations. Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru is his seventh property and fourth pre-opening experience with the brand.

Ranjith joined Four Seasons in 2006 as one of the core members of the pre-opening team at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai as human resources manager. It was the brand’s first foray into the Indian sub-continent.

Further to that, he was sent on a cross-exposure to Four Seasons Hotel Singapore for an initiation to the brand’s culture and work environment, post which he worked with two properties in the Maldives and two properties in Dubai, UAE.

Therefore, Ranjith has hands-on experience in a gamut of human resource functions such as training and development, employee relations and recruitment.
