Ekveda Superfoods has commenced the full-scale production of commercially saleable dry fruit products using the latest grading, separating, and destoning machinery and the vacuum-seal packaging technology at its state-of-the-art production plant in Pune, Maharashtra.

The company brings a line of 100 per cent fresh and quality products that include cashewnuts, walnuts, raisins, pistachios and a host of other dry fruits and spices.  These are available for the retail market and to be given as corporate gifts.

The company has procured the products from the best sources. They are offered in easy-to-pack dry fruit boxes, which includes carefully cleaned and graded products which can either be consumed or used in a variety of recipes.

“We are excited to add our new dried fruit line that can bring a whole new experience to the Indian consumer. This premium dry fruit option still fits within the budget of every household,” said Vedant Goel, owner, Ekveda Superfoods.

According to reports, “In the wake of the adoption of healthier food habits in India, the consumption of dry fruits is expected to skyrocket in the next few years. By 2020, the size of the Indian dry fruit market is estimated to touch Rs 30,000 crore.”

“We are not only spending on procurement channels, but also on cleaning, grading and packaging machinery to emerge as the key player in this burgeoning Indian dry fruit industry,” Goel said.

Moreover, the start-up is utilising vacuum-pack technology, that signifies the beginning of a new dry fruit consumption pattern for Indian families.

“We hope to see the growth of and continue to develop our product line. Ekveda Superfoods is a motivated innovator with the successful new dry fruit product launches,” said Goel.

In addition, the company is also planning to launch an Indian snack line or namkeens and has envisaged a nationwide expansion plan to take their products to every household.

Each Ekveda dry fruit box comes with a specific flavour combination. These large dried fruit pieces are rich with the real colour, flavour and the taste of the natural fruit and surpasses traditional dried products in nutritional content as well as in flavour and taste,” said Goel.
