Chocolate enthusiasts can enroll for an intensive basic chocolate-making skills class at The Classroom by La Folie, Mahalaxmi on November 2, 2019. Slated to take place between 1pm and 6pm, it will be conducted by Sanjana Patel, co-founder, creative director and executive chef, La Folie.
At this interactive class, the attendees will learn the basics of chocolate making including tempering, moulding, and creating various garnishes for your own chocolate creations.
Patel will teach them the basic fundamentals of chocolate making, and play with up-to-date modern flavours, techniques, shapes and decorations.
On the agenda will be recipes featuring white, milk and dark chocolate. Participants will learn how to create chocolate bars, the techniques of tempering chocolate, using moulds and examining texture and chocolate and ingredient garnishes.
The class is priced at Rs 5,000 plus taxes per person.
