Cloud kitchen company Ignite Foods has appointed renowned Chef Amit Puri as partner and director. This alliance gives both partners; Puri and Vaibhav Lodha, founder and director at the company, the opportunity to leverage each other’s strengths across varying skill sets and deliver experiences that will resonate with the target audience.

Puri brings over 20 years of culinary experience to the company and has worked with all the leading names in the industry. Having begun his career with the Taj Group of Hotels, he has made his name using traditional recipes as a reference and thereafter adding his individual stamp on them. His style is fresh, contemporary and propelled by flavour.

The recently released book Redefining Comfort Food With Amit Puri, written by Puri is the culmination of his journey so far. Featuring over 100 recipes, it is a must-have for any cook be it a beginner or an experienced one.

He says, “After working, travelling extensively for food and writing a book on food, I felt ready to take the leap to partnering the business. The company was launched in November 2019 and offers a vegetarian selection of cuisines through four virtual brands and more are in the pipeline.
