Mamagoto’s flagship outpost at Hill Road, Bandra will not only undergo a makeover, but will also witness 20 new additions to the food menu and an array of Asian cocktails. Janti Dugal, culinary director, Azure Hospitality, has focused her efforts toward re-energising the place through delicious Asian delicacies curated through various experimentations done at the Delhi kitchen.

Some of the dishes that will make an appearance on the new menu include Poached Shrimp with Chili Lime Jelly, Kohima Street Wonton, Burmese Jackfruit Bao, Tofu Sushi Stack, Miso Glazed Salmon, Asian Fish and Chips, Aubergine Noodles, Wasabi-infused Smoked Chicken Salad and Shrimp and Wasabi.

Another highlight of the revamp is Mamagoto’s cocktail menu, which includes like Chase and Status (Laphroaig, coconut fat-washed Scotch, ginger, honey pomegranate syrup, citrus juice), Pop! (vodka, popcorn syrup, leaf tea and citrus juice), Tornado (Bacardi dark, turmeric syrup, basil leaves and lemon juice) and Jockey Club Launch (vodka, white wine, cucumber, honey dew melon and mint).

“We, at Azure Hospitality, are thrilled to bring a new flavour identity to Mamagoto Bandra, and truly believe that an unforgettable dining experience is a combination of a beautiful ambiance, delicious food and drinks and impeccable service. Our efforts have always been focused on the overall experience and we hope our diners enjoy this experience,” said Rahul Khanna, director, Azure Hospitality.

Kabir Suri, co-founder and director, Azure Hospitality, said, “Mamagoto was born on January 21, 2010 in New Delhi from an office in an art deco building with arty people. We then began to conceptualise Rollmaal and Speedy Chow with our plans to swim into the quick service ocean and take on some junk food giants.”

“Soon we got our Punjabi fix with acquiring Dhaba Estd 1986 Delhi, a no-holds-barred highway eatery – all buttery and full on. Sophistication arrived in the way of Sly Granny filled with tapas rooms, speakeasy bars and philosophy clubs made for discerning ladies and gentlemen, first in Bangalore and now in Delhi,” he added.

“There’s plenty that we still keep wondering about doing; the debates and discussions are endless, as are the new concepts we are yet to introduce. Humbled by the loyalty of our patrons, we are redefining the Mamagoto experience in Mumbai to give Mamagoto a fresh new vibe,” Suri said.
