In some batches of infant nutrition products produced in France, there was a suspicion of Salmonella Agona presence, which could cause diarrhoea and fever, which cannot be underestimated at this age. The company decided to recall those produced since February 15, 2017, despite the fact that all the batches exported conformed to the local rules.
The recall did not concern all the products, because they were produced in another industrial facility. It was recommended not to consume that these batches or, in case of the absence of alternatives, to boil the recombined milk for two minutes and bring it back to the consumption temperature. Cleaning and disinfection measures were being taken to restart the production.
