Leela Mumbai’s Jamavar to host Parsi food pop-up from August 16 to 18

Our Bureau, Mumbai
Jamavar, at The Leela Mumbai, will host a three-day Parsi food pop-up between 7pm and midnight from August 16 to 18, 2019. With a special festive menu curated by Behrose Khandadia, a home chef who has been in the catering business for about 25 years, the pop-up will feature signature Parsi delicacies and family favourites.

The meal will commence with Paya soup and classic appetisers like Egg Chutney Patties, Mutton Cutlets, Chicken Kababs, Kheema Pattice, Chutney Balls or Cheese Corn Kababs.

The main course will comprises Patrani Macchi, Salli Boti, Prawns Patio, Chicken Farcha, Dhansak , Salli Potato Par Edu and Vegetable Stew.

These can be paired with Buttered pav, and accompanied by Dry Bombay Duck Patio and Sarya. The main course will also be incomplete without Berry Pulao.

The dessert options include Dinshaw’s Delight, which comprises the traditional Parsi Sev, sweet dahi and Mawa ni Boi, and Freny’s favourite, the ultimate combo of Lagan nu Custard, Chapat and Malido dry fruits.
