Mumbai’s Leela to host Christmas Eve special at Citrus, brunch by pool

The Leela Mumbai will host Christmas Eve specials at Citrus and Le Cirque Signature, and a Christmas brunch by the pool.

Christmas Eve Special at Citrus
Between 7:30pm and 11:30pm on December 24, 2018, Citrus will host a dinner buffet,priced at Rs 3,490 onwards (per person, exclusive of taxes).

The selection of traditional Christmas delicacies include Slow Roasted Turkey, Honey Glazed Suckling Pig, Thyme Flavoured Turkey and Pumpkin Broth, Spinach and Apricot Stuffed Baby Lamb Leg, Olive Tapenade crusted Sea Bass Fillet with Orange Sauce, Wild Mushroom and Ricotta Strudel with Smoked Pepper Sauce, Balsamic and Maple Roasted Pork Belly with Apple Cinnamon Purée and Roasted Root Vegetables.

There will also be a cornucopia of food stations alongside a wide display of Indian and International cuisines.

The menu will also feature a range of sinful confections like New York Cheesecake with Cranberry Mulled Wine Jelly, Croquembouche, Raspberry Pavlova, Chocolate Financiers with Orange and Ginger Compote, Mango and Lavender Macaroons, Bounty Bars, Apple and Pear Cake and Dulchey Baileys Irish with Sable Breton.

Christmas Eve Special at Le Cirque Signature
Le Cirque Signature will pair a curated six-course Christmas menu paired with some of the finest wines from around the world. It will be available between 6:30pm and midnight. Inclusive of non-alcoholic beverages, it will be priced at Rs 6,490onwards (per person, exclusive of taxes), and paired with wine, it will be priced at Rs 7,490onwards (per person, exclusive of taxes).

The menu will comprise Butternut Squash Soup, Spring Vegetable Terrine with Creamy Burrata, ProsciuttoWrapped Scallop, Raspberry Sorbet, Radicchio Risotto, Duck Ravioli, Zucchini and Asparagus Crepes, Pan Roasted New Zealand King Salmon with Jerusalem Artichokes and Sous Vide Chicken Roulade. Dessert will comprise the Pistachio Raspberry Zuccotto.

Christmas brunch by the pool
Between 12:30pm and 3:30pm on December 25, 2018, patrons can gather at the poolside terrace for a Christmas brunch priced at Rs 3,490 onwards (per person, exclusive of taxes).

The spread will include Apricot and Pistachio Stuffed Turkey Roulade,Salami Milano, Spinach and Saffron Gnocchi with Tomato Basil Sauce, Salmon Mille-Feuille with Citrus Mascarpone, Parma Ham, Chicken Galantine, Cajun Crusted Halloumi with Sautéed Almonds, Herb Crusted Lamb Chops, Brussel Sprout and Chestnut Gratin, Chicken and Spinach Lasagna, Maple Sweet Potato Mash, Spring Lamb Steak, Barbeque Pork Ribs and Coppa Ham.

It will also feature a Cured Salmon Bar, Western Barbeque Station and Carving station serving Maple Honey Mustard Roast Ham and Roasted Turkey, and offer a spectrum of Indian and international cuisines, including Thai, Japanese, Asian, Italian and Indian Tawa, alongside an assortment of soups, salads, charcuterie boards and cheese platters.

There will also be an array of traditional Christmas desserts like Yule Logs, Plum Cake, Stollens, Mince Pies, Plum Pudding, Gingerbread Cookies, Chocolate Christmas Tree Barks and Christmas cookies and sweet treats like Chocolate and Spearmint Opera, Strawberry Chocolate Tart, Cookies and Cream Pops, Brookies and Almond Bars.
