The Rameshwaram Café is holding Festival of Ghee to spread health benefits. The objective was to create an awareness campaign to educate people on high nutritional aspects of ghee - It boosts the immune system, has anti-aging properties, good for digestion, improves eye sight and provides body with much-needed healthy fats.
As a novel initiative, The Rameshwaram Café at ITPL Main Road, Brookefield, Bengaluru, geared up to spread awareness about nutritional value and health benefits of ghee as advocated in Ayurveda by our divine sages and rishis. The menu covers Ghee Masala Dosa, Ghee Open Butter Masala Dosa, Ghee Onion Dosa, Ghee Podi Idlies, Ghee Ven Pongal, Ghee Sakkare Pongal, Ghee Kharabath, Ghee Kesaribath and much more to make people to whet their appetite.
The authentic desi ghee hotel menu is made from pure ghee.
On the occasion, CA Divya Raghavendra Rao, ghee food specialist, spoke about the benefits of ghee and bust many myths surrounding it. “Ghee is known as India’s own super food. Ayurveda attributes healing properties to it. On a lesser scale, it has anti-inflammatory properties, bolsters the immune system and helps deal with digestive issues and rampaging hormones. It is also a large part of India’s culinary heritage,” said Rao.
“Most of the time we young guys work post night fall. It is very difficult to scout for a restaurant which serves simple, nutritious and most importantly hygienic food that doesn’t pinch the pocket, she added while highlighting the ghee menu of the cafe.
