fiogf49gjkf0d McDonald’s launched its Royale Range of burgers in India. It comprises two premium variants - McPaneer Royale and Grilled Chicken Royale.
These would be available at all McDonald’s outlets in the northern and eastern states of India.
McPaneer Royale Priced at Rs 115 (exclusive of taxes), the McPaneer Royale burger is made using paneer, which is marinated with mild French herbs and sear-grilled.
It is topped with a cheese and onion sauce, lettuce salads, tomato roundels and jalapeno slivers, and sandwiched between fresh corn meal-dusted buns.
Grilled Chicken Royale Priced at Rs 125 (exclusive of taxes), the Grilled Chicken Royale burger has a smoky taste. It comprises a Grilled Chicken Patty topped with chicken slices.
Other toppings include mayonnaise, a salad mix and tomato roundels. It is sandwiched between fresh corn meal-dusted buns.
Kailash Agarwal, director, McDonald’s India (North and East), and member, National Menu Development Council, launched the variants.
He said, “For the last few years, since the introduction of McSpicy range of premium products, our focus has been to strengthen our menu across all levels.”
“Hence we launched McEgg in the value range (Happy Price Menu); Masala Grill in the mid- tier; and Royale, our most premium product range,” Agarwal added.
“The new range helps us in reinforcing our positioning as a family restaurant brand catering to all age groups; instead of just a value brand that generally people associate McDonald’s with,” he said.
“We have products available for all customer segments across our menu,” Agarwal added.
