Anant Fresh Pvt. Ltd, a retail company from Haryana, has launched an e-commerce (online shopping) service for customers and shopkeepers.

As part of this service, the company through it website (www.anantfresh.com) will deliver fresh grocery products to all major cities in Haryana and later on connect to all the rural areas in the state.

Manoj Khatri, managing director, Anant Fresh, said, “The rapid growth of e-commerce in India, better web access, changing consumer behaviour, buying habits and preference has made a huge potential for the online grocers. Shoppers nowadays look for convenience - shopping more varieties and easy access without any traffic hurdles and parking problems thus e-grocers play a vital role in it and in vogue among today's customers.”

He explained, “We have developed an international standard and technologically sound e-commerce portal, people just need to place the email order or telephonic order, and we will deliver the goods at their home within 24 working hours. We have also made a strategic tie-up with nearby kirana stores where we are giving delivery. If we do not have access to that location or delivery from our warehouse will take time then the local kirana store will deliver the product without compromising on quality and value. So in the other sense we are also creating a business model for kirana stores.”

Talking about the physical retail expansion plan, he said, “In the first stage, our focus is Haryana and we will open 10 more retail stores in the region by end of this financial year. Some of the stores would be company owned and some would be franchisee in the areas like Panipat, Hisar, Kurukshetra, Sirsa, Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, Gurgaon, Rewari, Jeend, Faridabad, and Palwal. We are also planning to add fashion garment and lifestyle accessories, fresh vegetables and household goods in our bucket in the next few months.”
