Goli Vada Pav on an expansion spree; to set up 1,000 stores in 5 years

Goli Vada Pav, a chain of quick service outlets selling vada pav, is on an expansion spree.

The company currently has around 320 stores across the country and plans to set up over 1,000 stores pan-India over the next five years.

Further, in the next one year, the company will be opening stores across India in cities like Coorg, Calicut, Ambala, Gurgaon, Jalpaiguri, Durgapur, Wardha, and Buldana. The company is targeting to roll out 100 new stores during this period, according to Venkatesh Iyer, co-founder and CEO, Goli Vada Pav.
 
The company has also launched a range of new items on its menu - Limbo Po Rice, Lambu Vada and Vada Lapet starting from the south zone in cities like Bangalore, Kochi, and Calicut, going all the way to north zone in cities namely Lucknow, Raipur, and Faridabad. In the west zone, stores located in Nagpur, Pune, Nashik, and Aurangabad and in east zone, stores in Kolkata are also stocking these new products. With Limbu Po Rice, the company has entered the meal segment, a popular and fast growing segment within the QSR business. This meal item will be available in the stores during lunch and dinner time.
