Adani Wilmar plans to invest around Rs 600 crore this financial year for expanding its processing capacities of edible oil business. This is over and above the ongoing expansion programmes of around Rs 3,400 crore in capacity augmentation across its businesses.

The company would complete the ongoing capital expenditure programmes of Rs 2,200 crore in the current financial year. The capex of Rs 1,200 crore launched last financial year would be completed by March 2026.

The company plans to start a fresh capex programme of Rs 500 to 600 crore to expand processing capacities of oilseeds like sunflower and cottonseeds and also raise the solar generation capacities of solar power to 15 MW from eight MW.

The Ahmedabad-based company, which sells most of its products under the 'Fortune' brand will launch more food products like noodles and pasta for consumers and specialty products for institutional buyers to achieve higher volume-led growth.
