Coop ministry reviews testing lab infra for organic products

The Ministry of Cooperation has convened a meeting under the chairmanship of Secretary Dr Ashish Kumar Bhutani, to review the testing lab infrastructure for organic products.

According  to MoC, the meeting reviewed the status of availability of organic products testing labs wherein officers from FSSAI, Chairman APEDA, and others including officials from the National Cooperative Organics Limited ( NCOL) participated. 

The meeting discussed the roadmap for lab infrastructure for testing of organic products and mapping of the critical components for the same.. 

The MoC has also expressed  commitment that it will facilitate the creation of all the necessary critical infrastructure for facilitating conducive environment for organic products.

The MoC has stated that NCOL was committed to map the requirements and facilitate the availability of critical infrastructure required for promotion of organic products in India.
