BBTech Expo, organised by Italian Exhibition Group from February 16 to 18, at Fiera di Rimini, returns together with Beer&Food Attraction with the best exhibition offerings of the Beverage and Beer technology supply chain, giving life to a single large event that embraces the entire Beverage Industry. BBTech Expo and Beer&Food Attraction confirm themselves as European hubs of reference for professionals in the sector, thanks to the participation of 600 exhibiting companies from not only Italy, but also from Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain and Belgium. Overall, a business and networking opportunity that, thanks to the collaboration with ICE Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this year attracts 130 foreign buyers from 47 countries, with a strong European presence, represented by Spain, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden and, at a non-European level, especially from Canada.
In the Raw Materials sector, leading names such as Malt, Corimpex, BarthHaas, Uberti and Castel Malting stand out, offering essential ingredients – from hops to malts, from yeasts to water – to guarantee high-quality beer. The Production Technologies area represents the beating heart of innovation, with protagonists such as Easybräu-Velo by Omnia Technologies, Lasi, Spadoni, Letina, Impianti Toscana Inox, Vinext and Enomet Impianti, which present cutting-edge systems for all stages of production, from fermentation to quality control. In the Filling & Packaging sector, leaders such as Gai, Cimec, Emma, Eurostar, Wild Goose Filling and Berlin Packaging stand out, with advanced technologies for bottling and packaging. P-ink by Pelliconi, on the other hand, offers innovative solutions for the preservation and freshness of beer.
For Draft Equipment, excellences such as Celli Group, Vinservice Micromatic, Tebs Draft and Cis offer cutting-edge dispensing systems, designed to enhance the taste and organoleptic characteristics of beer. In the Analysis Systems and Services sector, Anton Paar Italia and Piramide provide precision instruments for quality control, while the Equipment and Glasses sector is represented by Rastal, Cerve, Vetro Due and Vd Glass, with solutions that combine design and functionality to enhance the tasting experience. A rich and specialised exhibition that confirms BBTech Expo as the ideal stage to discover the latest innovations and meet the protagonists of the sector.
At the Beer&Tech Arena, a point of reference for innovation and discussion in the beer sector, a series of talks will be held on strategic and highly topical issues. On February 16, at 4.15pm, the magazine Imbottigliamento will lead the debate on ‘For a more efficient supply chain’, a central theme for improving the sustainability and optimisation of production processes. On February 17, at 11.45 am, the CERB - Research Centre for Beer Excellence will address one of the fastest growing trends with ‘Non-alcoholic beer: production and quality control’, a focus on the technical and qualitative aspects of a rapidly growing segment. On February 18, at 12pm, the University of Udine will propose ‘New approaches and future scenarios for craft microbreweries’, analysing challenges and opportunities for small producers in an increasingly competitive market. Immediately afterwards, at 1.30pm, Unionbirrai will hold the meeting ‘Making beer culture, seriously! Between training, school and territory’, an in-depth look at the role of training in spreading beer culture and creating new opportunities for the sector.
