Situated in the tranquil setting of Malleshwaram in Northwest Bengaluru, Bombay Brasserie is the latest destination to experience Indian art, culture and culinary nuances in an all-new essence with a charming art-deco vibe. The brand-new food menu showcases recipes from across different regional cultures with a progressive spin and the bar menu brings you nostalgic favourites and fresh creative concoctions with an inventive flair. The new menu will be available at the newest outlet in Orion Mall outlet as well as the other three outlets in Bengaluru i.e., Indiranagar, Bellandur & Bengaluru T2 Airport.
The sprawling indoor space encompasses a beautiful handmade vibrant kite lighting feature suspended from the ceiling painting a buoyant picture of India’s spirited and multi-cultural harvest season. A tribute to the lifeline of Mumbai – the Bombay Dabbawallas can be seen on a beautiful corner with a collection of vintage tin tiffins honouring the institution of men who use Mumbai’s famed local railway to deliver home-cooked meals to office goers across the city. As you enter the space, take a moment to marvel at the Incredible India Wall that’s adorned with a series of picture frames representing India’s rich history through paintings, maps and recipe books. With a prolific heritage of handcrafted and hand painted wooden dolls, an entire wall is dedicated as an ode to this unique Indian craft. The dining experience is amplified with a picturesque al fresco seating area with the timeless charm which is perfect for the refreshing Bangalore weather.
An attractive bar with a 360-degree view of the restaurant, the bar is finished with antique mirrors and vintage brass shelves which hold unique homemade infusions, bitters and tinctures to serve a well-travelled collection of old favourites and refreshing new India inspired brews. The mood lighting art deco lamp shades create an ideal setting for experiencing the depth of the space while indulging in the eclectic menu with regional Indian fare and inventive cocktails.
The new food menu pays homage to many of India’s distinctive ingredients some of which are remote and sourced specially such as Black Stone Flower, Bhoot Jolokia, and many more from across the length and breadth of India, along with regional Indian specialties presented with progressive spin. The menus’ latest Small Plates comprise of texture rich Hot Kadhi Samosa Chaat, South-inspired Mushroom Pepper Taco and a crunchy Street Fried Chicken. Hot Plates and Street Grills have additions like the street inspired Paraath Paneer, and Charminar Murg Boti. The Big Plates and Biryanis comprise of the unique Pulled Jackfruit Masala with Curried Butter Parotta, home-style garam masala inspired Punjabi Cooker Chicken and the Egg Tadka Biryani. New desserts include the indulgent Chocolate Rocky Road and Bombay Ice Cream Sandwich. The old crowd favourites like Aam Papad Paneer, Kashmiri Naan Kebab, Naga Gosht Pepper Wings, Fiery Thecha Prawns, Paneer Sirka Pyaz, Mario’s Mango Prawns & Coconut Rice, Chatka Chhole Kulche, and Anglo-Indian Bread Pudding have also made it to the new menu.
