Swiggy Instamart unveils modak dispenser for Ganesh Chaturthi

Instamart has infused the festivities with a delightful twist by unveiling a unique instant modak dispenser on Carter Road, Mumbai. This was made available on September 6 and 7, where the dispenser gave away 1,000 modaks daily, completely free of cost and dispensing approximately 142 modaks every hour.
Modaks, revered as Lord Ganesha’s cherished treat, are a quintessential part of the celebrations. The vibrant orange machine, with its whimsical design, beckons passersby to indulge in a sweet surprise. This innovative initiative emerged from a collaboration between Swiggy and their partners, Havas Media and Havas Media Tribes.
The dispenser features an engaging mechanism: customers ring a bell, triggering an audio sensor that releases a single modak, hygienically packed in a box, within 5 seconds. Each modak box includes a QR code that directs users to its comprehensive Ganesh Chaturthi section on the platform. This section offers everything from pooja essentials and modak-making kits to a variety of modak flavours and eco-friendly Ganesha idols. Customers can conveniently access these items within just 10 minutes on the platform.
