Symega opens new manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana

Symega Food Ingredients, one of the largest seasoning manufacturers in India, has opened their new manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana. This facility is located at Rai Industrial Area, operated by HSIIDC Limited.
The company said that it marks a significant step in its growth plans to cater to the growing demand for its products in North & East India. Symega is a leading provider of innovative food ingredient solutions, specializing in seasonings, natural colours, flavours, culinary products and specialty ingredients. The company is part of Synthite Industries a global leader in spice and flavour solutions.
Jagrut Kotecha, chief executive officer, PepsiCo India & South Asia, was the Chief Guest, presided over by Dr. Viju Jacob, executive chairman, Aju Jacob, managing director, Synthite Industries for the inauguration ceremony.
With a strong and growing customer base in North & East India, this new facility is a strategic investment aimed at enhancing Symega’s customer reach and operational efficiency. The facility will play a crucial role in ensuring faster delivery timelines and optimizing supply chain logistics for customers across the region. The plant will be dedicated to providing taste solutions for snacks, noodles, breakfast mixes, and more, ensuring a wide range of applications.
With the launch of this new facility, Symega’s customers can expect quicker turnaround time, reduced lead times for orders, ensuring faster access to fresh and high-quality seasonings.
There will also be greater operational efficiency, increased production capacity to meet the evolving needs of food brands, manufacturers, and QSR chains in the region. In addition, there will be closer collaboration and the stronger presence in North India will facilitate deeper engagement with customers and better support for product development initiatives.
