Tennessee celebrates Agriculture Day on the Hill with a special focus on Dairy

The Dairy Alliance, a nonprofit organisation funded by dairy farm families across the Southeast, is set to highlight the vital role of dairy in Tennessee’s economy, agriculture, and communities during Agriculture Day on the Hill. The annual event will bring together farmers, industry leaders, and policymakers to celebrate the state’s rich agricultural heritage.
As a key event partner, The Dairy Alliance joined hands with the Tennessee Farm Bureau and the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, to honour the dedication of local dairy farmers who provide Tennesseans with fresh, nutritious dairy products.
Farrah Newberry, vice president of Agriculture and Environmental Affairs at The Dairy Alliance, said, "Agriculture Day on the Hill provided an exciting platform to showcase the critical role dairy farming plays in shaping Tennessee’s agricultural landscape. We are excited to engage with attendees and emphasise dairy's significant impact on the state’s economy and farming communities."
