The government of Sikkim has proposed to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the ministries of agriculture and food processing industries to enhance subsidy relating to food processing, logistics and post-harvest to a minimum of Rs 100 crore for the entire north-eastern region to promote industrial activities in these areas.
