Allied Blenders and Distillers Limited (ABD), India’s 3rd largest spirits company, announced the launch of ICONiQ White International Grain Whisky in Karnataka. Recognised as the world’s fastest-growing spirits brand, it continues to win the popular vote amongst whisky lovers. The brand is positioned to get a significant share in Karnataka's P&A whisky market with recent changes in State excise policies and right-sizing of consumer prices enabling major national brands to look at the market with optimism.

It is crafted for those seeking sophistication and refinement in their whisky experience. It is a blend of imported Scotch malts aged in bourbon oak casks, and Indian grain spirits. This blend is developed with a focus on delivering high quality and superior palate, setting it apart in the competitive P&A segment. It contributes to more than 80% of the spirits industry in Karnataka, the launch represents a strategic move by ABD to premiumise its portfolio in Karnataka.

Bikram Basu, chief innovation and strategy officer at ABD, said, “The launch of ICONiQ White Whisky in Karnataka represents ABD’s commitment to bringing world-class offerings to consumers. This product has been a runaway success since its launch, and is currently rated as the fastest growing spirits brand globally. I am sure the consumers in Karnataka will love what we have to offer and advocate for it for its quality and sophistication.”

Alok Gupta, managing director of ABD, said, “With ICONiQ White Whisky, we are addressing a clear demand for superior products in the deluxe segment.
