Leela Mumbai to ring in Valentine’s Day with five-course menu, barbeque

Le Cirque Signature and Six Degrees, the restaurants at The Leela Mumbai, will usher in St Valentine’s Day 2019 with a five-course dinner and a barbeque under the stars, respectively.

Le Cirque Signature
The five course set menu at Le Cirque Signature will be priced at Rs 10,000 (plus taxes) per couple. And if it is paired with wine from the extensive vino library, it will be priced at Rs 15,000 (plus taxes) per couple.

It will comprise Strawberry Gazpacho (Apple Wood-Smoked Strawberry Soup); Jerusalem Artichoke Soup (Veloute of Jerusalem Artichoke with Chicken); Quinoa Salad (Quinoa with Broccoli, Cranberry, Walnuts and Red Beetroots); Avocado Roulade (Stuffed Creamy Avocado with Tempura Pearls and Orange Vinaigrette); Scallop Ceviche (Scallop Ceviche with Pomegranate, Spring Onion and Crispy Quinoa); Potato Ravioli (Potato Stuffed Ravioli with Black Truffle And Pecorino Foam); Chorizo Risotto (Chorizo Risotto with Mascarpone and Berry Reduction); Zucchini Involtini (Asparagus and Parmesan Stuffed Zucchini with Saffron Sauce); Poached Chilean Seabass (Chilean Seabass served with Cherry, Candied Celery and Clam Sauce) and Pan-roasted Duck (Seared Duck Breast with Cardamom-flavoured Sun Root Puree and Pomegranate Jus).

These can be followed by desserts such as Molten Chocolate Decadence and Berry Cheesecake.

Six Degrees
The barbeque buffet at Six Degrees, which will be priced at Rs 4,700 plus taxes per couple, will comprise an unlimited range of smoky grills, meats, vegetables and seafood, accompanied with dips, salads, soups, European breads and desserts.

The seafood grills include Marinated Black Pomfret, Grilled Prawns and Marinated Squid. Patrons can try the Fresh Catch of the Day. The meats include Spring Lamb Steak, Thyme Mustard Marinated Chicken Breast, Gourmet Pork/ Chicken Sausages or Chicken Satay.

Vegetarians can either indulge in signature specialities like Cottage Cheese Steak, Corn on the Cob, Cajun Spiced Potato Wedges and Cottage Cheese Skewers or opt for seasonal vegetables like Broccoli, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Zucchini or Baby Eggplant.

These can be paired with sauces such as Barbeque Sauce, Lemon Caper Sauce or Pepper Sauce.

They can be accompanied by cocktails like Flame of Love (red wine and hibiscus cocktail topped with sparkling wine), Lady In Red (a delightful rose-infused gin concoction) and Spicy Love Affair (a wicked tequila and Tabasco concoction).
