To celebrate the launch of Quaker Nutri Foods in India, Quaker India organised a Breakfast Table with Vikas Khanna, chef, brand ambassador, PepsiCo Nutrition and co-creator, Quaker Nutri Foods, in New Delhi.

Those attending the event rediscovered India’s favourite breakfast dishes in a new format as he introduced the Quaker Nutri Foods range of ready-to-cook, healthier oat-licious versions of idli, dosa, upma and khichdi.

The Breakfast Table also took food enthusiasts on an experiential journey, with the chef showcasing how one can have fun with the Quaker Nutri Food range and to create tasty, wholesome and convenient breakfasts.

Deepika Warrier, vice-president, nutrition category, PepsiCo India, said, “At Quaker, it is our constant endeavour to introduce healthy breakfast options to consumers across the country.”

“Given the rushed lifestyles of urban consumers today, there is a need for healthy options in easy-to-adopt formats. At the same time, consumers told us they don’t want to compromise on taste, so we took popular breakfast recipes like idli, dosa and upma and made them healthier,” she added.

“With a superior taste and a significantly high content of Quaker oats to give consumers the wholegrain advantage, we believe the Quaker Nutri Foods range has set a benchmark for innovations in the ready-to-cook space,” Warrier stated.

“We are certain that the new range will quickly gain popularity amongst the health-conscious consumers and time-pressed millennials in the country,” she added.

Dedicated to healthy mornings that Quaker represents, the launch of Quaker Nutri Foods offers a convenient way to a healthy breakfast with an unmatched 40-56 per cent oats content.

Khanna demonstrated how the range could be used to make versatile yet quick breakfasts.

Speaking at the Breakfast Table, he said, “Starting your mornings on a healthy note is critical. Very often, we skip breakfast due to our hectic mornings, but I am a true believer in starting the day on a healthy note.”

“My first meal of the day must be nutritious and yet flavourful. When I met Indra Nooyi over breakfast last year, we had an interesting conversation about how people still seek familiar tastes, but with the convenience that fits into their rushed lifestyles,” Khanna added.

“Also, consumers enjoy a hot meal, prepared at home. The insights helped us to co-create the new Quaker Nutri Foods range to make mornings healthy,” the chef said.
“And for those who have a little more time to experiment, the range offers a quick and convenient base to play with and create exciting breakfast options with the goodness of Quaker,” Khanna added.

Quaker Nutri Foods is a ready-to-cook format that brings together healthier versions of some of the most loved Indian breakfast dishes, such as idli, dosa, upma and khichdi.

Made with 40-56 per cent of wholegrain oats and real vegetables, Quaker Nutri Foods contain dietary fibres, proteins and selenium, which helps support the immune function.

The all-new Quaker Nutri Foods range adds a healthy twist to the Indian breakfast routine, whilst ensuring the finest taste to consumers. Starting at Rs 40 (for 40g), the all-new Quaker Nutri-Foods range will be available in 40g and 150g packs across traditional and modern trade stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai and on online platforms.
