SuperYou, the protein-focused snacking brand co-founded by Bollywood star Ranveer Singh and entrepreneur Nikunj Biyani, has unveiled its latest innovation the ‘Mega Protein Wafer’ designed to deliver a substantial 20 grams of protein in one indulgent snack. The launch highlights the brand’s continued push into high-protein, everyday snacking formats that appeal to both fitness-focused consumers and mainstream users seeking better-for-you options.
The wafer format aims to blend taste and functionality, offering a crunchy, chocolate-layered bite topped with salted peanuts, made from ingredients like atta and jowar. Notably, the product is free from added sugar and palm oil — aligning with rising consumer demand for cleaner label snacks that don’t compromise on flavour. Packed with a full 20 g of protein, the Mega Protein Wafer targets multiple consumption occasions — from pre- or post-workout energy to mid-day hunger relief or a savoury evening treat.
Priced at Rs 120 at launch, the new wafer will initially be available on quick-commerce platforms such as Swiggy Instamart and SuperYou’s own website, with roll-out to additional e-commerce and delivery platforms planned soon. The launch strategy reflects the broader trend in India’s snacking ecosystem towards convenient, on-demand access, particularly among urban consumers who prefer instant delivery and discovery channels.
Ranveer Singh remarked that the product represents the brand’s commitment to creating snacks that are both enjoyable and nutritionally meaningful, while co-founder Nikunj Biyani emphasised that the “Mega” positioning was built around genuinely delivering a high protein content without sacrificing taste.
