Hitex, Traditions Event Mgt organise second Freedom Kitchen India Expo

Hyderabad International Trade Expositions Limited (Hitex) and Traditions Event Management and Marketing Pvt Ltd, in association with Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil, organised the second essay of Freedom Kitchen India Expo 2017, a three-day event powered by Agromech Homestore, at Hitex, Hyderabad, recently.

Puneet Mehta, MasterChef India Season 2 finalist and consultant chef of the event; P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, vice-president, sales and marketing, Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil; Sanjay Jain, chief executive officer, Agromech Industries; K V Nagendra Prasad, chief executive officer, Hitex, Sekhar Raju of Hafele and Arun Kumar, director, Traditions Event Management and Marketing Pvt Ltd, unveiled the logo for the event.

Freedom Kitchen India Expo 2017 was designed with the objective of improving the quality of living of the consumers. A prestigious exposition of kitchenware, it features an entirely new concept, showcasing all segments of the kitchen industry, including kitchen furniture, built-in appliances, kitchen fittings and much more.

The focused exposition platform connected the Indian market demand with market supply through companies operating in every conceivable segment related to kitchens like Hafele, IFB, Godrej Interio, Samsung, Panasonic, Morphy Richards, Prestige, Black & Decker, Russell Hobbs, Kaff, Servewell, Maple, Borosil, Hindware, Pigeon, Corelle, Priya Foods, Usha International, MTR Foods, Kutchina and Bluestar in such categories as appliances, cooking oil, water purifiers, cutlery, tableware, glassware, electrical appliances, cookware and pots, stoves and cooking ranges, storage, knives and boards, lifestyle and electronics, free standing kitchens, kitchen trolleys, integrated lighting, kitchen fittings, tools and utilities, dairy products, healthy diet foods, etc.

Freedom Kitchen India Expo 2017 envisaged to encourage consumers to adopt a modern lifestyle and adopt the latest technology available to make cooking a family fun activity. The event was targeted at both the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) audience.

To generate maximum response, it was scheduled strategically during the festival season when a lot of purchases are made. It also provided a platform to manufacturers and suppliers of the latest kitchen hardware, kitchen essentials and food and beverage (F&B) products to reach out to their target audience.

The expo was supported by the Telangana State Hotels Association and the Hotels and Restaurants Association of Telangana State.

Speaking about the event, Mehta said, “We curated special cooking contests, which were held at malls, to engage with the general public and involve them in the expo as the winners of Cook it up with Chefs.”

“The winners got an opportunity to showcase their talent in the grand finales, which were held on the Kitchen India Expo main stage,” he added.

“Apart from these, various activities such as the live Chef ki Paathshala (cookery classes with five-star chefs), consultancy for designing the kitchen, health and nutritional consultancy, etc. attracted and engaged the visitors,” Mehta said.

Reddy said, “Being a consumer-focused company, Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil always looks for opportunities to associate and bring to its invaluable patrons interactive platforms to explore new ways to make cooking fun.”

“The second essay of Freedom Kitchen India Expo was a unique platform that brought the sellers and consumers together under one roof in an exciting and innovative format which offered an environment to participate, learn, experiment and enjoy with the family,” he added.

“It was a pleasure to associate with the Kitchen India Expo 2017,” Reddy concluded.
