Bakery brand Brea launches at Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL)

Brea, a brand that is known to provide bread and freshly-baked products to the consumers for over 100 years now, has now spread its wings and has launched at Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL).
The brand retails its authentic Bangalore cookies at this outlet. The cookies come in eight flavours to satisfy your hunger pangs. One can choose from the butter, green chilli curry leaves, classic Khara, ginger jaggery, butter salted and cashew almond variants, which are the regional range or the double chocolate and choco chip variants, which fall in the gourmet range of cookies.
One can also enjoy Brea Roti, fresh out of the oven, in addition to a host of other products like breads, savouries and shakes, to name a few.
One could also savour the classic combos, including Savoury Muffin and Coffee and Cheese Croissant and Coffee. Travellers can also witness the goodness of baking at the brand’s very first live bakery.
Brea is a brand that promises the goodness of baking with every bite. Started by the brothers, Dianath and Mothasim Arshad in 2014 under the parent company, Renowned Foods, the company aims to take the consumers back to their roots with authentic baking and introduce them to the concept of healthy baking.
The family has been in the baking business for about 120 years. Starting out with AM Bakery for about two decades (i.e., from 1940 to 1960), serving the humble bread and bakery items to the British Army. In 1960, the brand came up with Crown Bakery, and became pioneers of decorative cake making and confectionery in Bengaluru.
Post that, they worked as a franchise model with Cake Walk for about a decade. In the year 2000, under the parent company, Renowned Foods, they supplied bakery, snacking, institutional bakery solutions to multiplexes, theaters, malls, corporate houses and leading coffee and restaurant chains across Bengaluru. BREA was born in 2014.
Located in Benson Town, the factory uses state-of-the-art technology for its products. The company promises to deliver quality breads and baked products from the factory to table. The brand’s products use non-bromate improvers, natural herb and plant extracts. It is the first commercial bread manufacturer to introduce the clean label policy in India.
Brea has launched five kinds of breads – whole-wheat, multi-grain, brown, Delhi kulcha, Mumbai pav and burger bun. The brand has also launched bread crumbs and flavoured croutons.
At the Brea kiosks, one can savour muffins, Brea Roti, croissants, palmers, cakes, etc. In the cookie range, the brand has introduced authentic Bangalore cookies with intriguing flavours.
The brand is currently at 200 outlets, and wants to reach 500 outlets by the end of 2020.
