In a remarkable endorsement of India’s rapidly increasing profile on the world whisky map, DeVans GianChand Manshaa has not only won the Grand Gold but also the International Whisky of the Year Award at Meininger’s International Spirits Award (ISW) 2025, in Germany overpowering revered international rivals from whisky dominant nations. This prestigious victory solidifies India's legacy of excellence in artisanal single malt manufacturing.
Meiningers International Spirits Award, (ISW), Germany, one of the world’s most prestigious spirits awards, recognised GianChand Manshaa, with a Grand Gold. Out of 450 spirits, only 11 received this honour. It is the only Indian Whisky to receive this honour was also bestowed the most fiercely contested, Best International Whisky of the Year honour, surpassing all entries from top whisky-producing countries like Scotland, Ireland, America, Germany. GianChand Manshaa truly shone this year, highlighting the quality and sophistication that Indian spirits are now showcasing on the world stage.
