Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, a flagship company of the Shiva Group of Industries, announced a strategic capacity expansion of 14,000 MT at its flagship manufacturing facility in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The expansion, involving a capex of approximately Rs 15 crore, focuses on scaling production within the company’s core Chlorinated Paraffins (CP) product category. Commercial production from the expanded line is scheduled to commence by July 2028.
The decision to scale up follows sustained supply constraints, with its Kurnool facility operating at 100 percent capacity utilisation. The expansion comes on the back of intense market demand across key industrial verticals, including PVC compounds, industrial coatings, flame retardants, and high-performance lubricants.
Amitt Nenwani, managing director, Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd., said, “Demand for specialised performance additives across India and global export markets is outpacing current supply allocations. Operating at peak utilisation has given us a clear directive - our customers need scale, fast execution, and strict compliance. This Rs 15 crore investment at Kurnool directly addresses our existing and potential order pipeline. Crucially, as we expand capacity, we are integrating zero-emission process technologies and energy-efficient manufacturing into the plant, ensuring that even our legacy product lines adhere to modern, sustainable operational standards.”
