KMF elects Jarakiholi as chairman for five-year tenure, ending in 2024

Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has unanimously elected Balachandra Jarakiholi as the new chairman for a five-year term, spanning from 2019 to 2024.
He was a Member of the Legislative Assembly representing Arabhavi constituency, and a former minister of the Karnataka Government. Now, KMF is the second largest dairy cooperative in India, with an average procurement of 76 lakh litre of milk daily from the farming community in the state. The Federation makes a daily payment of Rs 18 crore every day to the dairy farmers in the state
