Chef Ajay Chopra, on a recent visit to the Academy of Pastry Arts’ Bengaluru centre, interacted with students, tasted and appreciated the dishes prepared by them and gave feedback, which served as a morale-booster to students.
He had a long discussion on pedagogy with the faculty members, giving them a new perspective on teaching and brushing up their leadership skills.
During the day, there were food tasting sessions. The food prepared by the culinary students was sampled, and evaluated by the celebrity chef. This was followed by lunch.
Following the interactive session with the students, Chopra went live on Instagram to discuss problems faced by budding chefs and shared his solutions with them.
Sharing his thoughts on the visit to the Bengaluru centre, the chef said, “It is always a pleasure being with the bright and talented students from the Academy, because they inspire me to bring out the best in every delicacy I prepare. It is actually a win-win where both parties interact, train, teach and learn to grow.”
Commenting on the same, Chef Niklesh, founder, Academy of Pastry Arts, said, “Since its inception, our Academy has focussed on quality teaching through practical cooking classes by renowned chefs and master chefs.”
“Today, Chopra’s culinary classes at the Academy were insightful and will lead to the betterment of our students,” he added.
Chopra will host the second season of Northern Flavours, which will commence on Living Foodz on June 5, 2019, and showcase the forgotten delicacies of North India.
