WSET-certified Tiwari to conduct Wine Aging workshop at The Wine Table

Rojita Tiwari, who holds a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 certificate, will conduct a workshop on Wine Aging at The Wine Table in Bandra West, on August 31, 2019.
Priced at Rs 1,999, it is slated to take place between 7:30pm and 9pm and between 9pm and 11pm.
Tiwari, who has been listed twice in the Top Ten Women of Wine in India by the Indian Wine Academy, will talk the attendees through such wines as Trapiche wine, infused with asparagus, Hardy’s Gewurztraminer wine along with melon top notes, and various other wines.
“I joined the Indian drinks industry at a time when there were just a handful of women working in this industry and, there were even fewer female wine writers (which still holds true),” she added.
“In 2014 I left the magazine and founded Drinks and Destinations, India’s leading and most definitive platform for wine and spirits, travel- and hospitality-themed content and curated events,” Tiwari stated.
“While I am travelling all over the world still chasing that perfect story, and hosting and co-producing India’s first podcast on drinks called The Drinks and Destinations Podcast,” he added.
