Jerusalem and Mumbai come together for the maiden Jerusalem-Mumbai Festival, a first-of-its-kind cultural event, and will host artists of various styles for a day-long festival, which will take place on the lawns outside the CSMVS Museum between 10am and 10pm on February 16, 2020.

Hosted by the Municipality of Jerusalem, it will emphasise the special links between the two cities, each with its unique cultural traditions. Through diverse shows from morning to evening, the festival will seek to promote artistic cooperation between artists from both cities in the diverse fields of culture, such as culinary art, music and dance.

The Federation of Indo Israeli Chambers of Commerce (FIICC) and The Consulate General of Israel, Mumbai are the partners of the event, which is being presented as a gift from the Israeli city to the people of Mumbai and will seek to inspire artists from the two cities to work together.

Expected visitors
The festival will be appealing to various audiences, especially among the creative circles and academicians, but will not be restricted to them. As it is not a ticketed event, each and every Mumbaikar is welcome to attend.
